Today is Jan 10th and Brandon is two months old! Here's a little update on what he's up to these days.
Brandon is learning to smile! I haven't caught it on camera yet but it really is the cutest thing I've ever seen. His whole face lights up for seemingly no reason at all. You never know when he's going to flash you some pink gums but when he does, it melts your heart.
He's also starting to focus more on objects that catch his attention. He enjoys lights and toys that make noise. He likes studying faces and I even caught him watching the TV the other day.
Last week he managed to roll over onto his side but I'm thinking that was a fluke. I haven't seen him do it since.
A big change over last month is that Brandon really enjoys bath time. He used to scream when he went into the bath but now he mellows right out and even gives a smile from time to time. He's learning how to use his feet to splash and make a mess all over the floor ;)
Feeding is high on his priority list and he's still feeding about every two hours. We were at the doctors office last week and we learned he weighs 10.11 lbs. Apparently he's gaining weight too fast now but seriously, I'm not going to worry about that.
Other-than-that he still loves his swing and rides in the car (thank goodness!)
Tomorrow we're off to get his first set of vaccinations. I know it's really not going to be any fun but it's a sign that he's old enough to get them now. It's true what everyone says - they really do grow up fast :)
