My first post for 2010 is a promise I need to keep. I promised my friend - who is currently residing in Ireland - that I would send her pictures of the nursery months ago.
The hold up was due to some custom shelving I had installed in the baby's room. It finally arrived and I was able to take some photos.
I'm really happy with the way the nursery turned out. I didn't want the room to have a theme (like jungle animals or cute little bugs) but I ended up with one anyways . . . polk-a-dots. Overall the room is really comfortable and has a youthful, fun feel to it. The pictures don't do it justice but the colour on the wall is a soft happy blue and the drawings over the crib are original works of art that I ordered over the Internet.
To be truthful, I love this room and it's a good thing because I spend many early morning hours rocking my baby back to sleep in it :)
